Florida A&M University Food Security and Climate Change Conference


I had a great time going down to FAMU and meeting incredible professors, professionals, and students.  It was my first time going to Tallahassee, FL and we were welcomed with open arms.  Thank you to FAMU for hosting this event and for giving us the opportunity to hear from some impressive people in the environmental sustainability movement.

I think the most life altering things I learned were that access to housing is the major determining factor as to the probability of someone contracting HIV/AIDS and that women make up 2/3 of the uneducated population on this planet.
